Keith on hand to help launch new charity Christmas single

KEITH Duffy took centre stage at Buck's Townhouse last night as he did the honours at an invite-only bash.
The Boyzone crooner -- who helped raise over €100,000 for Irish Autism Action with his masquerade ball at the weekend -- was back doing good deeds this week at the launch of the ISPCC's new charity Christmas single.
A joint collaboration between Ireland's newest boyband Level 5 and X Factor star Mary Byrne, they have recorded Yuletide classic Merry Christmas Everyone in a bid to drum up funds for a good cause.
The lads, who performed at Niall Horan's 19th birthday and also at the Cheerios Childline concert, now have their eye on the number one slot as they battle it out with some stiff competition in the festive charts.
And there was no shortage of attendees who turned up to show their support at the event, which saw top model Louise Kavanagh belting out the tunes on the decks.
Other attendees included Dublin Wives star Lisa Murphy with Jo Jordan, who appear to be inseparable of late, along with Nadia Forde and Nicola Hughes.

Brian Kennedy was nice enough to pop along to studio with his guitar and have a chat with Keith. Things got a bit heated when they talked the Voice of Ireland but, as you can see, they love each other really.
Ronan Keating was in Cannes last week and Keith managed to get hold of a number for him and they had a chat while Ronan was in transit in Singapore and you can hear it here: REPLAY

UNE DEUXIEME PETITE FILLE POUR SHANE

BOYZONE hunk Shane Lynch has told of his joy that he will soon become a dad for the second time.
The Dublin-born star and his wife, Sheena, are already proud parents to their three-year-old daughter, Bille Rae.
“Sheena is having another baby in September, and it’s another little girl,” said an excited Shane (36).
“So I’m over the moon. I’m a very lucky man.”
The pin-up admitted that being a doting father had changed him. “When you suddenly have a little girl saying ‘Daddy, Daddy’, it does alter you. It brought a kind of calm to my life,” said the star.
The singer also told a magazine that he is to open his heart on his secret struggle with dyslexia in a TV documentary.
"As a kid, I couldn't read or write because at school I was very disruptive and found it hard to concentrate," he confessed.
Now he is to speak frankly in a new series of Channel 5's My Secret Past, about how the condition made him misunderstood as a child before he was finally diagnosed as an adult.
"I wanted to try to help others come to terms with what the condition is all about," explained Shane

“Hes a massive loss to us all. Im quite strong in my faith, but I cant come to terms with his death or find the reason why.”Boyzone star Shane Lynch has revealed he’s still struggling to come to terms with the tragic death of bandmate Stephen Gately.
Dubliner Shane (36) admitted it will be tough to celebrate Boyzone’s 20th anniversary next year in the absence of his pal.
The band were left grief-stricken when Stephen died suddenly aged just 33 on holiday in Spain in 2009. “Stephen was special, a soft, gentle character,” said Shane.
“He didn’t get on with the real world.
“His house was filled with Disney film characters. He loved magical stuff rather than the real world.”
Shane — who was especially close to Stephen as they were both based in London — added: “I took him under my wing because I knew he was vulnerable.
“I felt the need to look after him, and the others lived in Ireland.
“He’s a massive loss to us all. I’m quite strong in my faith, but I can’t come to terms with his death or find the reason why.”
Shane confessed it will be difficult for the band when they mark their 20th anniversary with a new album and tour.
“Without a doubt,” he said. “But we love being together as a band because that’s where we share our good memories of Stephen.
“It’s a positive thing. We only think about the good times we had together.”

Keith reveals Boyzone anniversary tour
Keith Duffy from Boyzone is set to make a guest appearance in “Street of Dreams “ which is the Coronation Street musical at the 02 on the 18th and 19th of May.
He told 98FM although he just has a small part at the end of the show as Rovers Return barman Ciaran, he’s thrilled they asked him to do it as he’s always kept a good working relationship with Corrie
He also told us some interesting news about the future of Boyzone!
His good friend Ronan Keating has headed back to Oz for The XFactor – Keith told 98FM Ronan will be there on and off for the next 6 months – coming home to see the kids and they go to see him on the school holidays too
– so how is Ronan doing since his marriage split? He’s been keeping the chin up and “they’re both in great form thank God”.

Mikey is among the celebrities expected to attend this year's Butterfly Ball, the charity's fundraising event in London which regularly raises over £1.5million. This year's event is scheduled to take place on May 31 at Battersea Evolution.
